The Brand Edit at Evans

 photo 08-DSC_0589_zps8aa10aab.jpg

I have such a soft spot for Evans as a brand ever since I did my first ever major blog collaboration with them for their Clements Ribeiro campaign back a few years ago and I am always pleasantly surprised to hear they are working towards adding more fashion forward on trend items for us plus size babes. Just this last month Evans are beginning to add additional brands as part of their edit and I was asked to try some of the dresses they will be stocking. This one I am wearing below is a gorgeous floaty crochet ivory dress from Lovedrobe and I am in loveeee with the colour and the shape of this dress. It has such a festival vibe to it which is why I added boots and chunky rings. The dress itself is a little short as you can see with heeled boots the dress came right above the knee. I wore shorts underneath to avoid embarrassing flashing of my pants but you could also wear some leggings with this if shorts aren't your thing. Although I tend to steer clear of white (being that I spill everything down me all the time) I really did love this and I plan on wearing it a lot this summer. What are your thoughts on Evans bringing in new brands?

  1. Love this outfit on you :) definitely has that festivally vibe you were talking about! I'd have to wear tights or leggings with it but it looks great on you like this. I always feel so mixed about Evans as a brand. I love the fact they've brought in some new brands and I think they are on their way to providing for younger plus size girls as well as older ones but I still feel as though they are missing a trick. I rarely find anything I love in their designs and I also think their sizing can be quite poor. But they are good for staples like leggings and vest tops!

    Haaappy Summer!

  2. Damn, I'm jealous of this dress!! It's fantastic! You look stunning!

  3. OMG, this dress is the bomb. Looking fab! x x

  4. I think they still have a long way to go but hopefully these brands will bridge that gap. I think they have their target market for an older plus size woman but hopefully they will expand that. xxx

Wow you look fantastic! :) the dress & heels look fab, I just came across your blog recently & love it! I have a question though, I'm am size 20 curvy woman and if I buy any kind of heels whether it's heeled boots or just high heels they tend to KILL my feet. Do you have any tips to help stop them hurting so much? I'm sorry if that sounded rude as I didn't mean for it to come across that way at all, I just haven't come across many plus size bloggers that I can learn things from when it comes to beauty or fashion :) xoxo

  6. Hi Kimberly Thank you! Not to worry not rude at all. I tend to buy wider foot shoes because I have really wide feet, I would say invest in some soft cushion soles they can really help!

  7. You're so stylish!!! You surely have a good taste at clothing!!! ρουχα σε μεγαλα μεγεθη
