First up was a talk from Freya which provided excellent information about the different
styles and purposes of Bras.
Ladies, sit down and brace yourself as this blog is about to get a little personal, today we are talking about Breasts and Bra's. Although I claim to be no expert in this field (I'll leave that to my girl Fuller Figure Fuller Bust) I have taken some time over the last few years to learn about the importance of a good supporting bra. Having a badly fitting bra can cause all sorts of problems, ranging from neck pain, back pain, bad posture and even headaches. I hold my hands up high and admit that I have been very bad when it comes to buying a decent bra, up until two years ago I would only buy my bra's in ASDA's they never really fit properly and I suffered with back pain a lot. Once I was introduced to Curvy Kate for the first time ever I realised having my bra straps at the top of my back was doing absolutely nothing for me. I was wearing a 42E and after a re-fit I went down to a 36GG!! I finally learnt what a central gore was and that mine was no where near where it should have been and since then I have been a convert. Debenhams are also passionate about the importance of correct bra fitting and created an event specifically designed to encourage women to have regular fittings. There were a selection of specialist talks from Debenhams, Fantasie, Freya, Wonderbra, Playtex, Triumph and Curvy Kate and I thought I would share with you a few snippets from the evening and the goodies I managed to get whilst at the event.
The ever beautiful Curvy Kate Girls!
After some great talks and advise I got re-fitted again with Curvy Kate in the changing rooms and managed to bag some incredible lingerie from both Curvy Kate, Elomi and Debenhams own brand Gorgeous both of which I am wearing below! The name of the brand is definitely fitting as the quality of the Lingerie is gorgeous plus pricing isn't too bad at all. The evening was just lovely and I am so glad I was re-fitted again, it turns out I am now a 38FF! So girls don't leave it go and get yourself fitted in a Debenhams store near you, you wont regret it I promise!
