1/2/3 -We started our trip off by visiting the local market in Le Marais where we saw the most beautiful flower displays as well as vibrant fresh fruit and vegetables. We also bought some Oysters as it is tradition to eat them on Christmas Eve in France. On our second day we visited the Louvre it took about 15 minutes to get the shot of me above which amused Dan greatly.
4- As you can see we were brave enough to try Escargot (snails) which I have to say were pretty darn tasty I urge you to try it, I have certainly ticked it off my bucket list.
5- Perhaps the most beautiful experience I had in Paris was the Christmas Eve mass at Notre Dame, having lost my Nan over 10 years ago Christmas has never really been the same, so it was really special to me to light a candle in the cathedral in her honour.
6- Christmas day was spent cruising down the Seine eating a five course meal. It was very fancy! We got a teeny weeny bit drunk...but that's another story!
I will be doing another photo post, one of my outfits in Paris and one using some full size photo's especially of my favorite ones! I hope you have enjoyed this post and I hope you all had a beautiful Christmas.
Callie x

What a beautiful way to spend Christmas, I'd love to go abroad one year in the future x
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to say you look stunning on that photo I'm guessing was on Christmas day. Can't believe you tried snails. Much braver than me. Haha
