My Holiday in Barbados. Welcome to Paradise.

It feels so weird to be blogging after being away for over two weeks. It was absolute bliss to have a break from London and from work, and I can safely say that I spent the last two weeks in ultimate paradise. If you are thinking of going away somewhere special I would 100% recommend Barbados. With blue skies, turquoise seas and dusty white sand it is the perfect place to relax. As I am back to normality I thought I would share with you a little slice of heaven with pictures of my holiday. Enjoy! 

This was Dover beach it was around a 5 minute walk from my hotel. The water was so clear and the sand was so white it was breathtakingly beautiful.

This was the local cuisine of Barbados. Flying fish and Macaroni pie. It was amazing Flying Fish is delicious if you ever get a chance, try it! 

 With music, fresh sea food and fish cooked on a BBQ and dancing Oistins is the place to be on a Friday!

Dan and I hired a jet-ski and it was amazing although I was so scared when Dan went really fast thought I was going to go flying off!!! 

Before I went on holiday I got myself a Fujifilm waterproof digital camera this was great for holiday as I got to take photos in the sea and the pool without the worry of damaging my camera. 

I think this may be my most favorite picture ever. This photo was taken by a beautiful cove along St Lawrence Gap the area we stayed in.

I had to share this picture! As it was Dan's birthday on our last night in Barbados we went to a very fancy restaurant called Pisces which over looked the ocean it was unreal how stunning it was, the food was divine. This was Dan's main course: 10oz Rib Eye Steak peppercorn sauce, plantain and home made onion rings. 

I know this is a picture heavy post so I have left a few outfit pictures out. I will make another post for that as well as one of me in my very own Fatkini! I really can't believe how happy and content I felt on holiday in my bathing suits and bikini's. I didn't think about my weight once, I never thought 'You look fat today' I just enjoyed spending time with Dan eating, drinking and being happy. 

Weekly Round-up.

Hello lovelies, I have been a wee bit rubbish with my blog this week. It has been hectic at work and I also caught some nasty sickness bug. This was not pleasant at all, it was that bad that I lost 10 pounds in 4 days! Never a healthy way to lose weight and it totally drained me so I am most definitely looking forward to my holiday to Barbados on Tuesday! Any way here is my weekly round up of pictures including some from last weekend. Enjoy!

1. Dinner out at Wahaca with the boy if you haven't been you should! Its amazing Mexican street food totally yummy and like a Mexican style Tapas. 

2. Trying out a new lippy in the form of Mac- Korean Candy.

Models Own Nail Varnish review.

This weekend I went to do my last bit of shopping for my holiday. I was intending on getting essentials such as sun cream and beach towels... Instead I ended up with 4 new nail varnishes and various other goodies. Well you do always need good nails for holiday right?

I have seen lots of reviews of 'Models Own' nail polish and I really had to try them out for myself. 

There is a currently an offer running at the moment buy any 3 bottles of varnish for £12 and get a 4th bottle for free. I also got a clear polish for a base coat which isn't in the picture below.

1. The first polish in the picture is 'Hedonist' it comes out far brighter than the colour it appears in the bottle.

2. This is the gorgeous 'Ibiza Mix' I have seen so many reviews about, it is so pretty and I imagine goes with many colours. 

3. Last but not least 'Fuzzy Peach' from the pastel range. I am loving orange at the moment so had to nab this!

I really like the nail polish on its own but just couldn't wait to try out my Ibiza mix.

I love all of the nail polishes and normally wouldn't spend as much as £12 but I can really tell the difference in quality from other cheaper nail polishes. I am now a fan of Models Own!

I have had a number of people ask me recently what colour lipstick I am wearing in a number of my pictures so I thought it best that I do a post. The Lipstick I am wearing is Rimmel 'Colour Show Off' I believe there are 12 shades to try but the shade that I am wearing is 'Kiss me.' 

I used to be a huge red lipstick-phobe. I always felt that I couldn't pull it off and that sometimes it made me feel washed out. This colour however is divine. I feel very sexy wearing this. As you can see it has a lovely coral tone to it that takes away the harshness that some red lipsticks can give. 

                      

I know this picture is plastered all over my blog but it is the picture that got people asking about the lipstick!

I have not used any lip liner with this lipstick. I found that it applies smoothly, however I have to say it does feel dry after application so perhaps putting on a clear gloss to add shine and moisture would be a good idea, although I didn't bother. 

I have actually had some difficulty in finding this colour in Superdrug where I originally got it for £6.49 however I have found it here at Boots for just £6.29. Don't be deceived by the picture of the colour for 'Kiss Me' on boots webpage it does not look anything like how it is on.

So I am now getting bored of my Lipstick any recommendations for a new Coral colour Lipstick?
